VISION

Gallery SO sets out with an understanding that sees art not only as a form of expression but also as one of the deepest tools of social, cultural and individual transformation. It aims to be a production and encounter space that is open to the changing dynamics of global art, encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, and creates an intellectual ground by going beyond the aesthetic.

In this space where the artist can freely reveal his creative potential and the viewer becomes a subject that not only observes but also questions and feels, our main goal is to make the innovative, experimental and often disturbing but also transformative effect of contemporary art visible.

Gallery SO argues that art is not merely an object or form; it is an experience that lives, transforms and transforms with the relationship it establishes with time, space and the viewer. In this context, our vision is to deepen the respect for art while making it accessible; to give the artist a unique echo to his voice while opening space; and ultimately to leave permanent traces that will contribute to the current and future meaning world of contemporary art.

MISSION

Gallery SO’s purpose of existence is not only to exhibit contemporary art, but also to transform it into a living intellectual and sensory experience. While providing local and international artists with the opportunity for production, expression and visibility, it undertakes to bring their practices together with the audience with in-depth curatorial approaches.

Our mission is to create an atmosphere of freedom where artists who consider art as a means of communication, a field of resistance and a journey of discovery can think beyond borders and break the mold. In this direction, we aim to create a multi-voiced and multi-layered artistic language by bringing together artists from different disciplines, different generations and different cultural backgrounds.

Gallery SO also integrates art into daily life as a platform that supports intellectual production and critical perspective, with interviews, workshops, publications and research projects. In this environment where the art viewer evolves from a passive position to an active participant and each exhibition becomes a dialogue; our mission is to present art not only as an exhibition practice but also as a way of life.
